Dangly Earrings

Description

These colorful handmade earrings consist of dangly beveled-edge polymer clay tiles. The tiles feature a veneer of one of my signature millefiori designs. The tiles come in a variety of shapes and hang from unique copper, silver or brass ear wires.

The color and finish is inherent in the clay, which means I don’t use any paints or sealers. The pattern will never chip off. After baking, I wet-sand the tiles through several grits of sandpaper, and then buff them to bring up a soft shine. Because of this extensive finishing work, they are exceedingly smooth, and pleasant to touch.

I love to wear these colorful earrings with a simple handknit sweater and jeans in the cooler months. In the summer, you’ll often find me pairing them with a cheery sleeveless blouse and shorts.
