TWiP: Flower Rut

This Week in Pictures, Week 17, 2021

I’m in a bit of a flowering tree rut, if I’m being honest. They are beautiful, but it would still be nice to see some variety around here. I was so much more creative last year at this time! Bear with me… I’ll have more interesting pictures soon 😜

So, what is This Week in Pictures?

It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Most of these images are posted on Instagram, but others aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples. It’s more laid back than the Project 365s of previous years. You can learn more here 🙂

Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S9).

TWiP Clips

Here’s a very short video, featuring 1.5-second moments from the week. I’m sure I did more than make coffee and enjoy the neighborhood’s flowering trees last week, but it seems to be all I remembered to capture 🤔

Saturday

This morning I worked a half day at the Day Job, followed by lunch, errands, and some exercise in the park. Now for my Saturday afternoon treat: iced mint green tea, pretzels, a chunk of chocolate, and a new library book that I am eager to dig into 🦋 #agloriousfreedombook #lisacongdon

Things are blooming in the yard.
Peonies on the way!
Picked up a surprise little critter in the shot.

Sunday

One of many backyard visitors we get around here.

Monday

I still over here coveting my neighbors’ pink trees…

Thursday

It;s a lovely day for a sleeveless dress.

Thanks for helping me celebrate the week! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Instagram ♥
