TWiP: More Snow and More Ripples

This Week in Pictures, Week 6, 2021

I think there may be a February theme emerging…

So, what is This Week in Pictures?

It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Most of these images are posted on Instagram, but others aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples. It’s more laid back than the Project 365s of previous years. You can learn more here 🙂

Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S9).

Here’s a very short video, featuring 1.5-second moments from the week:

Saturday

Seagulls hanging out on the partially frozen Hackensack River.

Monday

Good thing it’s so pretty, or this would be getting old by now. (Another few inches are the expected tomorrow ❄️)

Wednesday

The next three colors, aka “how I plan to spend my evening.” 💛💗💚

Thursday

I feel like knitting something, and my hot water bottle needs a turtleneck, so… 💛

Friday

It’s #clayathon2021 weekend, folks! We’re all virtual this year, so there will be no expansive hotel ballroom workspace, or old clay friends to work alongside, or a fancy hotel to hang out in 😕 But! I’ve just converted my dining room table into a clay table, and later I’ll get my laptop set up here for zooming, and it should be pretty darn close! I wonder if I can get my family to bring me room service later 😜

  1. What pattern do you use for your cottage ripple blanket?

    1. I really just watched a few videos to get the basic concept, and the I winged it! This would be a good place to start: https://justbcrafty.com/2017/03/granny-ripple-tutorial.html
