TWiP: Small

This Week in Pictures, Week 29, 2020

Twice this week, things that arrived in the mail were smaller than expected.

So, what is This Week in Pictures?

It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.

Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S9).

Ready? Cast your mind back to Saturday last week…

Saturday

193/366
Early in the morning, before it gets brutally hot, and while the neighborhood is still quiet, I’ve been taking short rides up and down the street. It’s refreshing and exhausting all at once.

I find it so hard to force myself to sew, when the house is hot. But my mask supply has been dwindling, and I wanted to make more, so I pointed a little-but-mighty fan towards the sewing machine, and told myself, “you only have to make ten!” 😜 I survived, and these are now ready to go to good homes. Phew. Now, if you will pardon me, I plan to spend the rest of the day sprawled out on the bed with a fan blowing on me, knitting and watching Britbox 😁

Monday

I’m thinking I should start wearing skirts again. This one, made from a thrifted sheet a long time ago is one of my favorites.

Tuesday

I am working on the second sleeve, but I’m not going to get too far tonight. It’s too hot to knit, even cotton!

So, the comically small bicycle basket is being returned 🙄

Thursday

Grandma’s new pool, is a bit on the small side. Still refreshing, though 😜
