Can you believe we’ve just completed the 43rd week of the year already? We are deep into Fall around here – many of the trees are bare, and those that still have their leaves are exploding with yellow and orange. There’s very little green left. It’s a good thing this time of year is so pretty, otherwise I think I’d find it depressing to see all of our lush greenery whither away and die, knowing that we have several months of challenging weather ahead.
It does sound pretty depressing, when you say it that way, eh? Luckily it’s a feast for the senses, so you don’t have to think about it too much. Besides being pretty, Autumn smells good, tastes good, sounds good… I’ve been taking pictures, baking, and listening to leaves crunch underfoot, and it’s been a lovely October, in that way.
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.

TWiP: Off the hook and on the needles (2015) I finished crocheting a blanket, and then I got back to knitting a sweater-in-progress. It's been a stitchy week.
Weekend Favorites (2014) It's been a quiet week at Polka Dot Cottage. But at least we have Weekend Favorites :-)
Ancient history (2010) Allow me to dust-off the admin panel here for a moment - it's been entirely too long since my last
