Warm drinks, handknits, mood lighting… it feels very Octoberish around here.
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday

My brother and sister-in-law hosted a birthday party for our Dad in their new house this weekend. I love these lights in their back yard.
Sunday

❤️💜🖤

Despite years of photographic evidence to the contrary, I always expect the swamp to be a riot of Autumnal color at this time of year. But nope. Still mostly green. Maybe in another week. Or two.
Monday

Four sweaters and two shawls in need of mending. This, hopefully, has taught me a lesson about leaving my room messy enough for my knits to spend time on the floor. We’ll see…
Tuesday

These little suckers really warm up a room. It’s rather surprising to me.
Wednesday

Not sure why I poured myself a cup of coffee 30 minutes before I go home for the day, but here we are.

Thursday

My grandmother’s buttons were just not right for this sweater… They kept slipping through the button holes, making this a very fiddly cardigan to wear. So, I made my own buttons last night, and they are perfectly sized and well matched color wise (a minor miracle, given the terrible lighting I have at the clay table after dark).
As polymer clay buttons go, these couldn’t be much easier. I’m thinking about making a tutorial. Would any of you be interested in that?

When your kid works at Starbucks, sometimes he puts weird names on your order 😀
Friday

It’s fall in my cubicle, complete with tiny pumpkins and flickering “candles” 🙂
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr or Instagram ♥
