It’s been many years since I took a vacation that was longer than a 5-day weekend. I wasn’t sure I would like being away from home for a full two weeks. As it turns out, it was fine. It was more than fine. I wish we’d had more time, in fact, to explore other areas of Ireland. Maybe next time. (I do anticipate there being a “next time” down the road somewhere.)

Climbing out of my rut (2023) I don't know if it's the Spring air or what, but I feel enthusiastic again about picking up the camera. I've signed up for a prompt-based flower photography class for May, and I've picked up a roll of LomoChrome Purple film to play with.

There's been a terrible development in my kitchen. The box of Dr. Pepper? It's empty. I peered
