We finally made it to Ireland after last week’s trouble, and it’s been a whirlwind of sightseeing and family gatherings. We only have a few days left here, so I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to stop typing now, and go do something vacationesque 😁
P.S. I’m posting from a mobile device, so I’m linking directly to Instagram and Flickr for these images. It’s a lot easier this way. When I’m back at my desk, I’ll re-do this post properly 😃 – Done!
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Instagram and Flickr all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
All photos were taken with a 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or a 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…

We saw a number of historic sites today, including this one: Trim Castle. Fun fact: Braveheart was filmed here.

Tuesday

Quiet day today, hanging around town. In fact, I didn’t take my camera out all day., until I realized I needed a 365 photo 🙂
Wednesday

Today we walked all around the town of Navan, seeing many of the places my in-laws spent time growing up, including this church, where they were married 58 years ago last week.

I was all set to give up on this Instax Mini project, but I actually like these shots I took around Navan this morning before we checked out of our hotel 😁

Friday

We took a double decker tour bus around the city today, and saw all of the sights, including this one, the Spire, AKA the Monument of Light.
