It’s super cold today (17F, last I checked), and I’m thinking that once I’m done with the stuff I need to do this morning, the rest of the day might be nicely spent in front of the fireplace. I’ve got a cabled scarf on the needles, and a half cord of firewood, so I think I’m good for a while 😁

I’m working on Saturday mornings for a while to help bank some time off that I can use for a big trip this summer. One perk of the office: coffee on demand.
Sunday
I ordered yarn for a squishy cabled scarf a week ago, but I’m still waiting for it. In the meantime, I crank out another woven square or two.
Monday
Ooh, it’s a good mail day! Now I can start my big squishy scarf tonight, and tomorrow i can hang my new calendar up in my cubicle.
Tuesday
It’s nice when you have a work project that is so engrossing you lose complete track of the time. When did it get dark?
Wednesday
On a related note… any knitters out there know if there is a way to unravel and re-knit the first few rows without messing up the rest of the scarf? I royally screwed up the beginning of the cable chart. I kept going because I thought it might not bother me, but I’m definitely feeling kind of bothered…

It’s my 2nd “workiversary” so I’m treating myself. No measly breakfast bar for me this morning! (I’ve planned to have half of this sandwich for breakfast and half for lunch, but I suspect that, in reality, no part of it is going to make it past 9am…)
Friday
It doesn’t happen very often anymore, so I really appreciate it when we are all hanging out in the family room together.
