TWiP: Milestones

It’s been a week of milestones, ups and downs, life and death, ceremonies and celebrations.  Quite by accident, the first and last images I took were of railroad tracks.

So, what is This Week in Pictures?

Saturday

No picture this morning, as we spent it at my great-uncle's funeral. It was a lovely service, and later a really nice family gathering. 💚💙 I took this one in the afternoon, when my sister, son, nephew and I climbed up the little hill in Uncle Jerry's back yard, and got a look at the train tracks behind the house. We always knew they were there, but I don't remember actually seeing them before. #myyearofmornings Jun 16

Tuesday

I wear a lot of t-shirts and jeans to work, and that's really my favorite thing. It's comfortable and easy. But sometimes I want to dress it up a bit, so today I put on some nail polish (@ellamila Sunset Escape #ellamilasunsetescape), a new temporary tattoo (@tattify Wound Up #tattifywoundup), and a trio of my own bracelets (#pdcbangles). Not visible: a precious metal clay ring I made for myself many years ago and still love. #myyearofmornings Jun 19
