I’m holding a coffee mug in four out of 13 images this week. I think it’s time to consider other poses…
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (the occasional when-I-feel-like-it theme for 2017 is “words”), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.

Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday
365 📷: 2017 273/365 – They’re teenagers and still making up weird holidays. ♥
Sunday
365 📷: 2017 274/365 – File this under “weird stuff I find in the grass.”
Monday
365 📷: 2017 275/365 – It’s another lovely morning for some coffee on the front steps. I’ll be sad when it gets too cold to do this.
Tuesday
Instagram Story 📱: Instagram Stories disappear after 24 hours, but I saved this one for my blog, because it would be mean to post a “see my story” teaser, and then not let you see!
365 📷: 2017 276/365 – Given what I found floating in the last batch of iced coffee that had been sitting in the fridge for far too long, I decided this batch needed a “use by” date.
Wednesday
365 📱: 2017 276/365 – I took a drive at lunch time today and found a road I’ve never been on before. [Taken somewhere in Bernards Twp, NJ.]
Thursday
365 📱: 2017 278/365 – I tripped on my way out the door this morning, and planted myself right on the pavement. I ended up with a few scraped-up knuckles and a couple of other scratches, but nothing too bad. I’m still not sure what I tripped over, but I’m thinking it was just my own feet. It sounds like something I might do… [Taken at work.]
Friday
365 📷: 2017 279/365 – Guys! I got a new camera today! Mom and Dad came to visit, and we took a short trip to the Raptor Trust to see some birds and take a few photos. It was a nice day. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some camera settings to figure out! [Taken at The Raptor Trust, in Millington, NJ.]
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr and/or Instagram.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
SAME WEEK PREVIOUS YEARS (2014, 2015, 2016)
How about Shamrock or Irish Fields for the name of the new shawl. It’s beautiful, whatever you name it.
Nice suggestions! Thanks for the compliment. I will probably be finished with it this weekend!
Your shawl made me think of a meadow therefore I shall suggest Meadow for your shawl’s name! 🙂 Love the weird stuff you find around your house. Your kids sound like so much fun.
Yes, they are very entertaining! Thanks for the suggestion… all of that green is definitely meadowy!
