365 📷: 2017 196/365 – Our hotel has strings of pretty lights – enough to keep me and my camera occupied all through the blue hour and beyond 🙂 [Taken at the hotel.]
Sunday
365 📷: 2017 197/365 – Well, that’s another Boston-area road trip done. Most years, we consider this the kickoff for a summer of licence plate game fun. We didn’t find anything too exotic during this trip. If you’re familiar with The Accidentals’ latest album, you’ll know why Aidan checked off “Michigan and again and again and again…”

365 📷: 2017 198/365 – A few more tiger lilies popped open while we were away.
Tuesday
365 📷: 2017 199/365 – This is the fabric I bought last week at Gather Here when we were in the Boston area. I also bought a new dress pattern, and tonight there will be sewing!
Wednesday
365 📷: 2017 200/365 – English Farm. I have driven past this place many times, but I could never see an actual place to shop from the road, so I always chickened out, not quite believing the signage that claimed there were eggs and sweet corn to be had. On my lunch hour today, though, my desire to buy blueberries overcame my skepticism, and I turned down that long driveway. I can now tell you that there is, indeed, a barn full of fresh produce back there, along with some chickens, a horse, and two goats. And I got my blueberries (along with a few other things) so there will soon be baking happening. [Taken at English Farm in Liberty Corner, NJ.]

365 📷: 2017 201/365 – I’ve got my iced coffee, episode 5 of Loch Ness / The Loch, and episode 9 of Fargo. I am definitely finishing Row 3 on this blanket tonight.

I look forward to what you are up to each week. This post definitely encourages me to get out my sewing machine. Since crochet and knitting, it has gone by the wayside. Your blanket looks really nice and will be DONE when all strips are added as you go. I like that. Oh the berries!! Yummy!!
I’m the same way – I’ve decided I much prefer knitting and crocheting. But it’s hard to beat how much more instant-gratification a sewing project can be when compared to a knitting one!
