It’s a yarn-heavy post this week, isn’t it? It’s funny how often my weekly photos put me in the position of having to explain that I did more than just put my feet up and stitch over the course of seven days.
I think it must just be a fact that I am far more inspired to commit the stitching moments to Instagram than I am the looking-for-a-job moments, the emptying-the-dishwasher moments, and the folding-laundry moments.
Can you blame me? 😜
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (one image each day for all of 2016), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
365 📱: 2016 205/366 – Finally got some underwater shots that consisted of more than just everybody’s legs ☺ Thanks to my nephew for the handstand! [Taken at my parents’ house.]
365 📷: 2016 206/366 – The first of the tiger lilies has opened up! These are such odd-looking flowers. Also, I think they should be called "leopard lilies."
365 📷: 2016 207/366 – Remember that fabric I designed a few weeks ago? The pattern works on flip-flops, too… I’ll definitely be blogging about this in more detail soon!
365 📷: 2016 208/366 – Sewing shirt number three this afternoon!

Good Morning, Instagram! I think this project involves a personal record for number of stitch markers used. It's my first seamless bottom up sweater, so it's the first time I've joined partially knit sleeves to a partially knit body. I did that task late last night, and it's very exciting, because it means the finish line is in sight! 😊
365 📷: 2016 209/366 – Lately, 8pm means a lit candle, cold-brewed coffee, a good mystery on TV, and knitting. I’m fine with that. I could be done with this sweater in a week or two.
365 📷: 2016 210/366 – Hey, when the Snapple goes on sale, we Clarkes do not mess around.
365 📷: 2016 211/366 – I’ve been wearing Lip Shimmers for several years now, usually Cherry or Papaya (warm hues a couple of shades darker than my natural lip color). I bought this Strawberry one on a whim today, and wow – it brought me right back to high school when my preferred lip look was the palest possible pearly pink. All I need is some electric blue mascara, and I can feel 17 again, LOL!
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
