New Designs for Spring!

I’m so excited to be able to share the Spring 2016 patterns with you today! These are the designs that are available to be applied to crochet hooks, seam rippers, knitting loom tools, pens and pencils, shawl pins, buttons, and jewelry (whew!) this season.

The Spring 2016 Pattern Choices at Polka Dot Cottage

Meet “Spring,” the new color scheme that features shades of bright green, purple, and sunny yellow, much like the actual Spring season does 🙂

Additionally, please say hello to two new designs: Tortoise and Retro. Tortoise is a complex pattern of concentric diamonds, reminiscent of the distinctive turtle shell. Retro is a classic design that you can learn more about here.

Tortoise and Retro join last season’s popular Jubilee and Afghan designs, and all four patterns are available in the five color schemes: Rainbow, Swamp, Seaside, Blue, and Spring.

I’ll be taking custom orders for the next few weeks, if you’d like to Choose Your Own Adventure. There is no additional charge for custom work, so why not drop by the Handmades Shop and tell me exactly how you like your crochet hook handle to be.

Seriously, I’ve made crochet hook handles for several people with special needs, i.e. a blind crocheter who needed extra texture so she could tell the difference between her hook sizes, a woman with arthritic hands who preferred a thicker handle, etc.

If you think you (or a loved one – Mother’s Day will be here before you know it) could benefit from a truly customized crafting tool – not just crochet hooks – drop me a line and I’ll see what I can do!

New stock at Polka Dot Cottage

P.S. If you prefer something ready-made that can ship right away, I’ve just added all of the above new stock to the shop. Check it out!
