Isn’t it funny how the lights are rarely on at full power at this time of year? So much of what I did this past week was by the glow of a few strings of colored lights, or in just generally dim rooms. I like it, though. It’s cozy.
Also? I almost forgot it was Saturday (aka TWiP Day) today!
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
365: 2015 353/365 – Saturday night Roku and knitting. I am giving four knitted items as gifts this year. I started them over 4 months ago, and yet, here we are the weekend before Christmas and my last knit still needs sleeves. Even when I plan ahead I still manage to procrastinate!
365: 2015 354/365 – Had a lovely afternoon and evening with the family today. Christmas concert from my parents’ choir, supper together at the local diner, some coffee and conversation with my parents back at their house… Nice day. It feels like Saturday, though. Tomorrow morning’s 6:30 alarm is going to be a rude awakening!
365: 2015 355/365 – As successful as I have been lately at eating healthy, some days just require a temporary return to the old ways. Hello, Frappuccino and Nutzels 🙂
365: 2015 356/365 – 6:30am, and the living room is bathed in a soft red light. Really, this cozy atmosphere is the only thing that makes me happy to be up before the sun.
365: 2015 357/365 – Wrapping stuff today, and I printed out my favorite gift tags 🙂
365: 2015 358/365 – We saw this trio right down the street from my brother’s house tonight. I’d hate to see the electricity bill on that first one 😉 Merry Christmas!
365: 2015 359/365 – Cheers! Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night 🙂
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
