The first week of April is always kind of a crazy time for us. This year it feels even more so. We got married on April 1st, twenty years ago, so it was a big anniversary. Eamonn’s birthday is today, so we’ll be celebrating later with a family party, and tomorrow is Easter, so another family get-together (not at our house, thank goodness) is in the works.
Have I mentioned that I haven’t started my taxes yet, or that I broke a tooth yesterday afternoon but can’t fit a dentist appointment into my schedule until at least Friday?
Yeah, I think I’m going to take the easy way out today and just let the pictures do the talking. Hopefully I’ll have more time to chat next week!
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for my Project 365 (one image each day for all of 2015), plus some everyday-life snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
365: 2015 86/365 – My Aidez sweater
365: 2015 87/365 – It’s still chilly enough outside for a fire.
365: 2015 88/365 – As predicted, I’ve pretty much lived in this sweater since I finished it Friday night 🙂
365: 2015 89/365 – I think in the future, I will try to avoid spilling boiling hot spaghetti sauce onto my fingers. It doesn’t feel so good.
365: 2015 90/365 – Recreating our wedding day pose. I will tell you, it is much colder today than it was 20 years ago! We were freeeeezing doing this 🙂
365: 2015 91/365 – These guys are multiplying like crazy, but they’re still the only things in our yard that are blooming so far. Spring feels late this year.
365: 2015 92/365 – 60 degrees this morning! Perfect weather for a little front-steps coffee-brewing.
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
