I spent today wandering around the NJ Sheep and Fiber festival, snapping pictures, eating ice cream, buying yarn. Wait. Scratch that. I actually didn’t buy a single skein of yarn!
It is very possible that I will go back tomorrow and rectify that situation.
While I did manage to resist the temptation to put an angora rabbit in my pocket and take her home with me, I may just go back and buy a bit of angora yarn for a pair of fingerless gloves. Next best thing!
And, hmm, I think I might need some alpaca, too 🙂
Yes, you HAVE to go back for yarn. Are you crazy?? 😉
I would be tempted by the bunnies too! So cute!
I did go back 🙂 I got some alpaca worsted (from an alpaca named Charlotte) but I passed on the angora. Holy cow, is that stuff pricey! I wish I could justify it, but I really couldn’t.
Oh that looks so fun! 🙂
It was. It was fairly small, but a good warm-up for Rhinebeck next month!
i think you just do need some to make something pretty! 🙂 Wow, it all looks fabulous…that soap looks like it would be wonderful!! I am enjoying my mocha syrup, by the way. Thanks so much!
Glad to hear you like the syrup – always happy to recommend something delicious 🙂
I bought some of that soap, and it is really, really nice.
color me green. I would love to go to a sheep and wool festival! I have 8 alpaca fleece just waiting for me to clean, pick card and spin. Shall I let you know when the yarn is available
Sure! Although I’m not really in stash-building mode at the moment, so I’ll probably pass unless you do something that makes it so I just can’t resist 😉
