Weekend Favorites

Well, folks, it’s another one-link week here in the Polka Dot Cottage Weekend Favorites Department. I guess that’s what happens when you spend your days being completely free of your usual schedule. Hey, it’s summer! It’s to be expected!

I did manage to spend some time on Flickr this week, though, so there’s a substantial mosaic. So many pretty pictures to catch my eye!

On Flickr

The mosaic below represents other people’s pictures that spoke to me this week. Be sure to click on the titles below the mosaic, if you want to know more about the image or the photographer behind it.

Around the Web

I spend some time earlier in the week sharing my favorite crafty links through social media. And then I repeat them here on Fridays.

  • Want to Know What 200 Calories Looks Like? – from WiseGeek, via MyFitnessPal. WiseGeek photographed 200 calorie portions of a variety of foods. It’s interesting to compare how many apple slices you’d have to eat to get the same amount of calories in a tablespoon of peanut butter.

Have a lovely Friday!
