Weekend Favorites

Friday already? Wow, this week went fast! Unlike last week, I actually had time to poke around Flickr a little bit, so there are some pretties for you to look at. I’m glad about that, because I didn’t like posting last week’s favorites without images!

By the way, I really think I need a pair of red polka dot clogs like the ones in the mosaic.

On Flickr

The mosaic below represents other people’s pictures that spoke to me this week. Be sure to click on the titles below the mosaic, if you want to know more about the image or the photographer!

  1. Lisa: I look forward to this every week. Thank you. Your such a cool Jersey girl. I used to be a Jersey girl. my dad used to call me a Jersey Tomato. I lived in Florida for the last 30 years so now Im a Florida….girl. (no girl no more! more like old lady!LOL)

    1. Aw, thanks, Denise! I don’t think I’m really your *typical* Jersey Girl, but I do love living here. There’s so much more to NJ than most people think 🙂

P.S. I think you can call yourself a girl for as long as you want to 🙂 At (almost) 43, I’m not exactly just out of high school myself!

  2. Eager for ideas for what to do with felted wool. I have accidently felted several sweaters and have been saving them, waiting for inspiration. So, thank you. 🙂

  3. I loved and shared the GeekMom post on bees, Lisa. Though I was aware of these issues, I found Laura’s article succinct and a great conversation starter.

Hope you have a great weekend 🙂

And we can be “girls” as long as we want LOL.
