Weekend Favorites

Good morning, peeps! I think it’s safe to say that spring is really here. Yay! Do you know how I know it’s really spring? Well, it’s supposed to hit 70 glorious degrees in the next few days, and I’ll be chained to my desk doing our taxes.

This is my lot every year. You’d think I’d learn. You’d think I’d work on them in dreary old February, wouldn’t you? Ah well. I think I just need to learn to embrace this aspect of my personality.

I’ll open a window next to the desk. It will be like being outside, but without all of the bugs. #positivespin

  1. oh how I wish we were having YOUR spring temps. We went from fall to spring (with a 3 days freezing in Jan….jacked up the citrus) and now are in summer temps. too darn early for it to be 96. But it is a DRY heat….whatever. I am not ready to be slammed into summer

    1. I suppose your weather has its own set of challenges, but I have to admit to feeling a twinge of jealousy over your 3 days of freezing. We have had the worst winter I can remember this year. And spring is at least 2 weeks behind where it was in previous years.

  2. I am buying an almanac this year, Lisa (’cause apparently they were bang-on about the challenging winter we just endured). I am excited to see the 6-8 foot snowbanks slowly giving way. It was 14°C (about 57°F). Practically tropical. Everyone in t-shirts.

    Have a great weekend 🙂
