I feel like this week has been super busy. If not this week, then at least the last two days. I tend to feel crazy when there’s a lot of coming and going. Today, I hope to be home. A little puttering and computering sounds like a nice plan to me.

Other Stuff
Here’s to a quiet weekend filled with simple pleasures!
Don’t know which I like more – the stripey pendant or the Noro scarf. The Noro scarves are a lot of fun to knit! I just haven’t done one using Noro… yet. =)
I guess you’re in a stripey mood 🙂
I find Noro scratchy. I would be afraid a scarf would not be well-received by my neck.
lol – I guess I am! IMO, once washed, Silk Garden is pretty nice, and not all that scratchy. But I have some balls of KnitPicks Chroma queued up for my next stripey endeavor, and that’s not scratchy in the least.
Thank you for providing these inspirations!
Glad you’re enjoying them!
Noro’s totally scratchy. I would use Crystal Palace Mochi for it instead. Much smoother. I need to get my needles out again. I miss knitting.
Hi Lisa,
I don’t know if it is intentional or not on your part but when I brought up your blog I thought your posts were missing because there is so much white space before you get to your latest posting.
No, not intentional at all! Can you tell me what browser you are using so that I can test it and try to fix it? Thank you for letting me know about it!
I used aol and internet explorer and it comes up the same way on each. I really enjoy your blog btw.
Aw, thanks! And thanks, also, for coming back and letting me know what browser you’re using. I never use either of them, so that would explain why I didn’t know about it! I’ll play around with it and see what I can do 🙂
Hi again, Cookie. I’ve been working on the problem (I figured out what it is) but it is tricky to fix, since I don’t have an older version of Internet Explorer to test with.
I don’t want to inconvenience you with this, so please don’t go out of your way, but if you could let me know the next time you visit the blog, whether things look any better, I would appreciate that 🙂 Thanks!
Lisa, your post looks fine on Chrome… hopefully because you have fine-tuned it. I am hoping to get a look at the Cynthia Tinapple book without actually buying it (LOL I’m so cheap… what are the chances my small regional library will purchase it?)
They look fine on Chrome because that’s what I use, and I’d notice a glitch right away 🙂
Good luck with the library. I find that there is not a lot of polymer stuff at my library. Maybe you should visit Barnes & Noble and spend an hour with the book in one of their comfy chairs 🙂
A book store would be a dream come true (one with a comfy chair sounds like heaven) 🙂
Hi Lisa,
I just checked your blog again via aol and IE and it looks the same. I think I just noticed this happening this past week. My IE is Version 9.0.8112. I am not complaining…just thought you would want to know about this. If you want me to check again in the future just give me a shout! 🙂
Thanks, Cookie! It’s a shame it’s not working yet. I’ll have to play around with it again at some point. Thanks for telling me your IE version. That might help! Don’t worry, I didn’t think you were complaining, and I’m glad you told me about it 🙂
