Weekend Favorites

Neil had his heart attack a year ago today. That’s not really an easy anniversary for any of us, least of all him. This morning, I’m treating him to a small bowl of angel food cake topped with blueberries + wineberries. “Happy Anniversary” doesn’t really seem appropriate to say, but “I’m glad you’re still here” works pretty well. And it’s true, to boot.

  1. “Neil survived a heart attack a year ago today.” There, now it’s something to celebrate!

    1. I should just go to you first, any time I need to find a way to arrange my words effectively 🙂

  2. so, so happy for that anniversary — whew! xoxoxoxo

    1. Me too 🙂 Thanks!

  3. Just spent several days in and out of the ER and the cardiologist’s office due to heart issues. Makes one grateful for survival and getting health back.

    1. Oh, that sounds awful! I hope that you are on the mend now. Keep healthy!!
