Why, look, it’s another square!

My blogging rhythm is becoming predictable lately. Sheets and granny squares, taking turns, with nothing in between.  Well, the sheet swap is winding down, so there will be less of that soon. And I’m all caught up with the sampler assignments, so I will only be doing a post about that once a week at this point.

I have to admit, the opportunity to post simpler content like this really could not have come at a better time for me, as I’ve thrown so much of my energy into wrapping up Polka Dot Creations this month. Creative blogging has not been something there has been a lot of time for.  That should change next month, but for now…

Granny Square Sampler Week Six!

I finished these the very night they were assigned.  They’re kind of interesting. It’s another style that progresses from circular to square.  Cool.

I wonder what is up for next week? I hope it’s something that doesn’t resemble a traditional granny square too much. I enjoy those different squares the most, since they’re nearly always new to me.  For this project, I crave novelty.

The more squares I make, the more I am convinced that putting these all together into a blanket is going to be total crazy time! (A good crazy, though. I hope.)

  1. I like your small square this week much better than mine, the way you did the colors is great.

  2. Your colors, as usual, are just wonderful. I love this project so much and can’t wait to see the finished blanket. I’m just looking at the Babbette pattern tonight and trying to figure out what to do to start one myself! But I’m also signed up for a beading thing and really should be working on that. So many crafts, so little time!

  3. You have such a good eye for colors! These are beautiful.

  4. This is going to be such a lovely blanket.

    1. I think so, too – I can’t wait for it to come together more!
