It’s time to choose a winner for the skirt contest!  Between comments, subscriptions and retweets, there were 34 entries. Random.org so kindly chose #8 for me, which works out to be… [drumroll, please]

Melissa E!

Congratulations, Melissa!  I’ll be emailing you later today and asking a couple of nosy questions that will help me get started making your skirt 🙂

As for everyone else, thank you for entering, sharing the link and whathaveyou.  Stick around, because as soon as I can manage it, I’ll be posting the tutorial / pattern for a custom-fit skirt, and for a while it will be free for the downloading!

(You may have noticed the image above is not of elastic-waist skirts or pasty-white Winter legs.  I spent yesterday afternoon at the kids’ school, helping out with the 2nd Grade Environmental Day.  I took this picture while Eamonn was on his knees in the learning garden planting flowers.  My black thumb and I will need to put that boy to work in our own yard!)
