Thank you for your nice comments on my yarn bag this week. I’m sorry I haven’t had the time to respond individually – I’ve been making checklists lately and actually crossing things off of them, believe it or not. Accomplishing things is great for home and business, but not so great for social networking fun! Still, I make sure there is a section of my list for things I want to do, not just things I need to do, and blogging is right up there.
I believe it is sandwiched in between “sew Christmas table runner” and “get hair cut.” 🙂
So, are we feeling festive yet?! My shopping/making is barely started, but I’m definitely in the spirit. My decorations are up earlier than usual, and we might even manage to put up the tree this weekend (a miracle considering we are usually scrambling to get it done two days before Christmas most years).
Picture the Holidays has been fun this week. Care to see?
Day 4: You hold the key (not a very holiday-ish prompt, but I stuck a Christmas napkin in there for kicks…)
Day 5: The view from here
Day 6: Every little thing (I love this one, as you might be able to tell from my new blog banner…)
Day 7: Express yourself
Day 8: Reflecting on the season (my camera looks awfully big and badass at this angle…)
Day 9: It’s a sign (or, at least, a page from a book…)
Day 10: Twinkle Twinkle (I’m getting more mileage out of these ornaments off of the tree than I ever will once they’re hung up…)
I’m really enjoying taking all of these festive photos. I think I’m going to find a way to use them to help celebrate the season. I’ve already got the best ones on rotation as my computer desktop background, but I think I am also going to print them and use them as gift tags. If I do, I’ll be sure to show you the finished results!
