Someday, when I am feeling less congested, I will make myself a dainty little stack of handkerchiefs, decorated with pretty floral patterns, and keep them in my nightstand. For now, though, the box of Kleenex can see me through the remainder of these sneezy times.

I have always liked the idea of cloth hankies…they are dainty, quaint, and so very vintage. But the reality is a different beast. When I am feeling as you apparently are…I want to toss “it” in the trash and be done. Bring on the Kleenex, or Puffs, or as it is in my house, the toilet paper. I will try to save the planet in other ways. Hope it gets better….

When I was a kid we always had soft freshly laundered cotton handkerchiefs so when my oldest was younger I bought some. Let me tell you they just aren’t the same if you don’t iron them and I don’t know about you but ironing is just not my thing! So much else to do with my time.
