Buttons can go on upcycled bags…

Button Challenge

The first of the Big Button Challenge submissions has come in!  Take a look at this fabulous altered purse by Penny Richards.   I love how she used the pattern on the button as an inspiration for the motif she painted onto the bag.

Button Challenge Button Challenge

Hard to believe this was once a plain brown handbag, isn’t it?  You can visit Penny’s blog to see more about this project.

The button Penny chose for her altered purse is a Focal Button in the Country colors and Squares pattern.  As of now, I have one more exactly like it up for grabs in the shop.

🙂

It’s pretty exciting for me to see my buttons being used in new and creative ways.  I can’t wait to see more challenge entries.  So… who’s next?!
