I’m having one of those mornings where I can’t seem to force myself to do anything worthwhile. Beyond getting the kids off to school with their lunches intact and their shoes on the proper feet, I have shirked all of my responsibilities.
There was a glimmer of hope about an hour ago, when I took a shower & got dressed, but somehow that fizzled and I found myself back in my favorite chair in the living room, computer on my lap.
I blame the cupcake. Nothing good ever comes from having cupcakes for breakfast.
I took this picture yesterday, as proof that it had hit 67 degrees here, and I was able to walk up to the mailbox without stopping first for a sweater. I avoided posting it initially, because at this time of year I always run the risk of turning this blog into a Weather Blog, and really, who wants to read that?
But then I started talking about cupcakes, and I was too lazy to get off the couch and snap a picture of one to illustrate this post, and you know how I hate posts without images, so… Weather Blog it is, featuring our warm Spring day yesterday. Today it’s rainy and 48 degrees again. I wonder if I can blame that on the cupcake, too.
54 here right now-not too bad for March in Montana. I can relate-I had chocolate cake for breakfast! Not too productive, either, but then I’m waiting for my Dr. to call. She called yesterday and wants to talk to me. I had a physical last week-is this good news or bad?
Oh, I wish doctors wouldn’t do that… they have to know how nervous it makes people to hear “we need to talk.” I hope it’s nothing!
Raining and 48 degrees? Don’t blame the cupcake, eat another one! It’s almost 80 here in Houston. Don’t be too jealous. In a few weeks it will be 95 with 90% humidity. Yuck! It’s hard to capture that on a camera…you will have to trust me on the yuck-factor.

Apparently there is just nowhere in this country with a climate that is perfect all of the time 😉
It’s snowing here today, if you can believe that.
Thanks for your reply, Lisa. Turns out I’m allergic to everything I eat! She was so astounded she had to call me right away!
At least it wasn’t the C-word, I had just had my PAP test and assumed that was what the call was about.
Whew!

Being allergic to everything must be a real pain in the neck, but I’m with you – I’d have been thinking C-word, and probably freaking out a bit. Or a lot. LOL! Glad it’s something easily manageable.
