It’s cold. It’s gray. It’s dreary. And it isn’t over yet – not by a long shot. The thought of spending another two months in the dark, cold grip of winter has me turning to brightly colored wool and my button collection.
Maybe I can’t be sipping exotic drinks by a tropical pool right now, but I can invite some of those lively colors into my world.
The Fiesta Hat is my answer to cold gray Winter mornings. Take that, winter!
I’ve been knitting my fingers to the bone this week. If you’d like your own Fiesta, I’ll be adding a very limited number to the shop by Friday. Follow Polka Dot Cottage on Twitter, if you’d like to be notified as soon as they are available.
Oh Lisa, what fabulous colors! spring, new growth, bird’s eggs… Yes, take that, winter! I love the chunky texture of the yarn, too. And your polymer button is just the perfect touch. Beautiful.
Thanks for all of the inspiring knitting posts. I’m really enjoying them!
