Or is it completely impossible to do anything but sip tea and read blogs, during a morning thunder storm?

Nope, not just you… I have a ton of things I wanted to do on my day off and I’m still sitting in front of the computer with a cup of tea. ::sigh::

Ummm sippin coffee and reading blogs is what I do EVERY morning…thunderstorm or not 🙂

That sounds like the PERFECT morning!
Sounds wonderful to me, just so long as it’s only a thunderstorm 🙂

Pretty much not just you. If you substitute coffee for the tea, it’s what I did too, across the continent from you.
No, wish I could have done the same thing, but I had to go to work (day job). Ugh. I think yesterday’s t-storms were worse than what TS Hanna brought us on Saturday; at least in my part of the state.
It wasn’t that bad here, luckily – all bark, no bite.
