I really should have learned by now

I should have learned that procrastination doesn’t pay.  So often, when I decide that I can put off a pile of tasks, something unexpected happens.  Days like that require me to put aside birthday shopping and black-pants-finding plans, and instead spend the day, from 4am on, holding a barf bucket for a poor little person with a surprise stomach bug.

Yeah, Eamonn is sick today.  Poor kid.  And maybe it’s the 3.5 hours of sleep I got last night talking, but I’m not feeling all that great myself at the moment.

Wonderful timing, as usual.   It’s almost funny!

    1. Well, I’m fine. Must have just been exhausted yesterday. Eamonn’s done throwing up, but he’s still not feeling well. He just finished taking a little on-the-couch nap between tv shows.
