Crochet

I learned to crochet in 2011, when I inherited a large pile of granny squares from my own Granny. Since then, I’ve made many types of crochet projects, from sweaters to scarves, but my very favorite has to be motif-based blankets.

I’ve designed blankets for every member of my immediate family, and some for other people and occasions, too. Most of these designs went on to become the crochet patterns and tutorials that you can purchase right here.

I think that a crocheted blanket is one of the nicest things that you can make for someone. It’s like wrapping them in a cozy hug even when you are not there. Sure, it’s corny, but it’s true!

The crochet patterns here are mostly beginner-friendly, and nearly all of them come with a step-by-step photo tutorial version, if you need extra hand-holding.
