Advertising
Do you have a business that you think would interest my readers?
I’m currently offering several small ad spaces to businesses whose products and services are in-line with the “feel” of this blog space. Crafters, artists, polymer clay suppliers, creative bloggers, yarn shop owners, cookbook writers, fabric shops, photographers, anyone who has something offer my readership of mostly female creative-types is welcome to apply.
Polka Dot Cottage sees roughly 10,000 unique visitors per month and 20,000 page views, and this number is rising.
The ads can be seen over there on the right sidebar —–>
You have two options for advertising:
#1: Sponsorships through me
These spots are available on a weekly or monthly basis, and are visible to all of the blog’s worldwide visitors.
Upon receipt of payment, I will email you and ask for the following information (you can go ahead and send it to advertising@lisaclarke.net in advance, if you prefer):
- the name of your business
- the link to which you would like the ad to point
- your 125 x 125 pixel ad, or a link to it – if you don’t have an ad, and would like me to make you one, I’d be happy to do so for an extra $5
#2: Sponsorships through Project Wonderful
I’ve teamed up with Project Wonderful to offer two 125×125 spots. Project Wonderful uses an auction model as well as geo-targeting. This means you can name your own price, as well as the regions of the world to which you would like to advertise.
Current rates in your region are:
These prices fluctuate as more or less people become interested in the ad space. (Box positions within the list of ads may vary.)
Follow the links to the respective boxes to get more information or to get started with Project Wonderful.
Which Polka Dot Cottage sponsorship option to choose?
The direct sponsorships can be more expensive. However, once your ad goes live, it is guaranteed to display for the entirety of its scheduled run.
The Project Wonderful ads are not a sure thing, since you may be outbid at any time. However, you have the potential to get some really affordable advertising, plus Project Wonderful offers you the ability to check your ad’s performance statistics, which can be a valuable tool.
Whichever sponsorship option you choose, I sincerely thank you for sharing some of your advertising budget with my little corner of the blogosphere.
P.S. I also have a 300×250 spot that shows up on all archive pages, a Leaderboard size on the footer of each page, and a Wide Skyscraper that appears on the sidebar of most pages. If you’re interested in one of those, make me an offer!
P.P.S. I reserve the right to refuse any ad for any reason (although, if your ad is appropriate for my audience, tasteful, and aesthetically pleasing, you should have no problem)!
