Pocket full of posies giveaway
Ok, as long as I am laying around today without moving my arms too much, I’m going to take advantage of it and do computerey things. Like post this giveaway.
Up for grabs today is the Spring 2007 issue of Adorn magazine and ten polymer clay posy prototypes as seen in these past blog posts.
Most of these posies have a pin/brooch mechanism on the back, but there are a few that have nothing, and you’ll have to figure out how to use them.
I subscribed to Adorn recently, and the subscription began with the Spring 2007 issue – an issue I had unfortunately already purchased at the newsstand several weeks earlier. So I have two copies. I thought the flowers on the cover tied in nicely with my experimental clay flowers, so I’m bundling them together and will send them to one lucky contestant. To win, simply leave a comment and tell me what your most recent art or craft project has been. If you have links to a related blog entry or flickr photo, all the better! I will again call on my evil henchmen to select a winning entry at random sometime later in the week.

Now that the notepads are in place, hopefully I’ll be more organized & tackle the crafts I need to be doing — like getting an order of my own out the door, & making birthday cards & gifts for 2 family members (don’t tell them I haven’t started yet!)
I don’t think I qualify for the give-away as I’ve already received three of the beauties!!! I’ve already had many compliments when I wore it as a necklace. Thanks again Lisa!!!

Angela, I think it’s great that you made a notepad to match the bricks in your kitchen – I wouldn’t be able to stop there. Suddenly, there’d be “brick” salt and pepper shakers, fridge magnets shaped like little chunks of brick, a brick napkin holder… Heh.
Karyn, I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the ones I sent you! I’m using the small change purse you sent me to hold gift cards (I like to save the cards I get for birthdays & Christmas, and use them on a rainy day, so I needed someplace to keep them together).
Penny, sure the cards count! I love the butterfly card especially.
I hadn’t considered *any* of those options, Lisa — and my salt & pepper shakers are uncovered. Oh, dear… tonight may be busy!

Oh I do hope you back is feeling a little better, I can totally understand as from a car accident from a couple of years ago i splintered my spine and every so often If i over do it by lets saying hanging the washing out LOL it goes.
Wow I so want this issue of Adorn another dear blog friend in the US sent the last one to me as they wont send it to the UK and I loved it, and your poly work is such an inspiration to me, I can’t seem to get the hang of it.

I made three complete sets of Runes this weekend. It was the first time I added inclusions to my clay. They came out very nice. I also made 2 small bowls!
Welcome, Geri. The runes sound interesting. What type of inclusions did you use? My only inclusion experiences have been with embossing powder.
