So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (the occasional when-I-feel-like-it theme for 2017 is “words”), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Instagram 📱: I pulled out the #polymerclay last night and mixed up some colors to go with my desk mandalas. I envision some thumb tacks, a pen or two, maybe an id badge reel… It’s play time!
Instagram 📱: Because what girl doesn’t need earrings to match her desk decorations? 😂
365 📷: 2017 182/365 – We interrupt this Game Night to bring you a rainbow 🙂 [Taken at my parents’ house.]
Instagram 📱: #sundaymorning #secondcup
Instagram 📱: I improvised a mason jar cozy, but it doesn’t fit. It looks kind of like a jellyfish like this ☺
Instagram 📱: Cheers! Take two of the mason jar cozy went much better 😊. I’d show you the bottom, which is the most interesting part, but I’d have to dump out my tea. I’ll write up the pattern and share it on my blog this week!
365 📷: 2017 183/365 – Just a little Sunday afternoon crochet = a new mason jar cozy.
365 📷: 2017 184/365 – I couldn’t stop at one…
Instagram 📱: First pool day of the summer! 😎 [Taken at my parents’ house.]
365 📷: 2017 185/365 – I got to use my underwater camera bag for the first time today. I didn’t get any truly spectacular shots, but I got some interesting-looking things like this one. [Taken at my parents’ house.]
Instagram 📷: I shared the pattern for my new mason jar cozy on my blog today. See the link in my profile or visit http://www.lisaclarke.net/2017/07/04/free-pattern-crochet-mason-jar-cozies/ ♥
Instagram 📱: #simplepleasures: going out for walnuts and taking the scenic route back🌳🌞 [Taken on a road in Basking Ridge, NJ.]
365 📱: 2017 186/365 – Tomorrow it will be one year since I lost my friend Michele. I had bought red roses to plant in her honor then, but in true Lisa Clarke fashion, I didn’t manage to keep them going through the winter. So these are my do-over. I think Michele would have been amused at my inablity to keep a simple plant alive. She was never shy about teasing me when it was clear I deserved it 🙂 [Taken in the parking lot at work.]
365 📷: 2017 187/365 – Ugh. This counter. I can’t remember the last time I saw the top of it. Would you believe this is what it looks like after half an hour of cleaning? I’m done for tonight… I hope what’s left doesn’t take too much longer. I need to finish it tomorrow!
Instagram 📱: Yep, I’m pretty into these colors. [Taken at work.]
365 📷: 2017 188/365 – I went to work early this morning so that I could come home early, and finish cleaning off this darn thing. So glad to be done! This room still has a messy area, but it looks really great when I crop the mess out of the shot… Too bad I can’t do any creative cropping in real life!
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
