Whether it be provided by nature in the form of dappled sunlight, or provided by a technology in the form of a pair of color-changing bulbs, my photos this week have their share of unusual lighting.
I always find it interesting when an unplanned theme emerges from my image collection.
Yesterday I wore my “I’m blogging this” t-shirt to work, and now that I have mentioned it here, I am no longer lying 😉
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (the occasional when-I-feel-like-it theme for 2017 is “words”), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.

Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday
365 📷: 2017 119/365 – Is it bad that I’ve pretty much spent all day in the same spot? Next to an open window, feeling the lovely breeze, nerding out on my tablet and laptop, reading a magazine, listening to music… I did leave this room for the ever important Saturday afternoon trip to Starbucks for a soy peppermint mocha no whip frappuccino, so there’s that.
Sunday
365 📷: 2017 120/365 – For as long as I have neighbors with pink trees and a 250mm lens, there will be images like this in the spring 😉
Monday
365 📷: 2017 121/365 – I don’t mind dandelions. This is a good thing, considering how many of them we have around here…
Tuesday
365 📷: 2017 122/365 – It was a beautiful sunny day today, perfect for driving home with the windows open and the music playing loudly.
Wednesday
365 📷: 2017 123/365 – We got some colorful light bulbs today, and the first thing I did was turn the room my favorite color 😀
Thursday
365 📷: 2017 124/365 – The novelty has not worn off with these light bulbs… I call this arrangement "3d glasses."
Friday
365 📱: 2017 125/365 – Rainy day today, but I mostly missed it, being indoors and all. [Taken at work.]
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr and/or Instagram.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
