Hello, and welcome to Last Week in Pictures, which is what you get when I am three days late with This Week in Pictures πŸ˜‰

As I mentioned on Friday night, my lack of good planning kept me from posting this on time, but I’m here now! I got home from the Clayathon yesterday afternoon, and spent the rest of the day pretty much buffing and assembling what I’d made, and then lounging around feeling exhausted. It was an awesome weekend as always, and I came home tired, as always.

And then I went to work for most of the day today, leaving me here at 7pm on a Tuesday, posting what is usually a Noon on Saturday post. You forgive me, right? β™₯

As far as the Clayathon goes, I hope to post a more comprehensive recap later in the week. Fingers crossed I can squeeze it in! Oh! and if you placed an order with me last week, I will have it ready to ship by Saturday πŸ™‚

So, what is This Week in Pictures?

It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (the theme for 2017 is “words”), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.

Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…

Saturday

Instagram πŸ“±: Next weekend is #clayathon2017! Would you like me to make you a badge reel while I’m there? $15 each. DM me your color and pattern preferences 😊 #pdc

365 πŸ“±: 2017 42/365 – Sensitive Irresistible – Enjoying a little Apples to Apples with the family tonight. [Taken at my parents’ house.]

Sunday

365 πŸ“±: 2017 43/365 – Speed Limit 25 – It’s an icy day.

Instagram πŸ“±: I finished the #sweetpeashawl I was working on for my brother’s wedding, and it’s just as I’d envisioned. Now I need to find a store that sells the perfectly coordinating dress I made up in my head, and I’ll be all set πŸ˜‚

Monday

365 πŸ“±: 2017 44/365 – Machine Washable – I was all set to buy a classy black dress, and then this jumped into my cart instead. It does go pretty well with the shawl I crocheted…

Tuesday

Instagram πŸ“±: Wow. My preferred color palette is so predictable, I don’t even have to *try* to be matchy matchy. #aquaandred #redandaqua [Taken at work.]

365 πŸ“·: 2017 45/365 – XOXO – Happy Valentine’s Day β™₯

Wednesday

365 πŸ“±: 2017 46/365 – Himalayan – This was just the right amount of chocolate. Not to mention delicious. [Taken at work.]

Thursday

Instagram πŸ“±: I’m leaving for the #clayathon in a few hours and I haven’t packed a thing… #pdc

365 πŸ“±: 2017 47/365 – Recharging My Batteries – Welp, Eamonn and I have arrived at our hotel. The Clayathon starts tomorrow. Tonight we visited the rec room and played a little air hockey, hit a few pool balls, and played some ping pong. Now we relax. [Taken at the clayathon.]

Friday

365 πŸ“±: 2017 48/365 – Premo – Six little packages of potential on my work tile. [Taken at the clayathon.]

Instagram πŸ“±: First cane of #clayathon2017 done! This disc (after it’s baked) will go on a badge reel. I’m stepping out of my comfortable blueπŸ’™ and greenπŸ’š mode and making some pinkπŸ’“ stuff this weekend 😊 #pdc [Taken at the clayathon.]

Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on FlickrΒ and/or Instagram.

I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!

  1. Ohhh, that dress will be perfect with your shawl! And the chocolate definitely looks delicious! I have always considered chocolate to be a good investment. πŸ˜‰

    1. Agreed. I have since gone back to that little store and procured a nice stash for my desk drawer at work. They’re a perfect mid-afternoon snack πŸ™‚ Thanks for the dress/shawl love! I just eBayed myself a pair of sandals that will hopefully go with them both (and if they don’t, they’ll be nice in the spring with cuffed skinny jeans, so win-win).
