I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but over the course of the last few weeks, I’ve been tweaking the formatting of these TWiP posts.
I want to make it more obvious which images are for my daily photo project and which images are from Instagram. And I also want to be clear about which were taken with my phone and which were taken with the fancy camera.
I don’t know if anyone really even cares about differentiating these things, but it makes me happy. I like categorizing and organizing, and tweaking with my blog’s format.
Besides, how else am I supposed to spend these soul-sucking rainy days?
I really have felt completely uninspired to do anything on my to-do list all week. Is it really the rain’s fault? I have no idea, but it makes a handy scapegoat.
This morning I am getting out of the house for a little nature adventure with my sister, so hopefully that will snap me out of whatever it is that’s making me so sloth-like!
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (one image each day for all of 2016), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.

Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday
365 (📷): 2016 121/366 – This cat was a surprisingly willing participant in my little photo shoot. He used to run and hide when we’d visit, but lately he sticks around, and this time he even posed for me. [Taken at my parents’ house.]
Sunday
365 (📱): 2016 122/366 – The dandelion situation might possibly be kinda out of control…
Monday
365 (📷): 2016 123/366 – Iced coffee, pretzels, chocolate, a lit candle, crochet, and Grantchester on the PBS Android TV app. Just a typical Monday night in my room 😀
Tuesday
365 (📷): 2016 124/366 – The front steps are wet with rain. I should probably get used to it. Rain is in the forecast for the whole week.
Wednesday
365 (📷): 2016 125/366 – I’m not sure why, but whenever I’m wandering aimlessly around someplace new, I always have an impulse to check out their food stores. I’m easily amused by seeing the same old products in exotic new layouts, apparently…
Thursday
365 (📷): 2016 126/366 – That moment when all of your mis-matched breakfast dishes are in the same aesthetically-pleasing color family.
Friday
365 (📷): 2016 127/366 – I feel like maybe there’s been an excessive amount of rain and chilly temperatures this week. At least the plants seem happy about it. Personally, I’m ready for a little bit of sunshine and to take off my sweater.
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr and/or Instagram.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
The bicker brothers…lol! I am sorry to tell you that mine still occasionally bicker as adults. Maybe it’s a brother thing? Your baby sweater looks adorable. 🙂
My theory has always been that the closer they are, the worse they bicker. These two have been each other’s best friends for most of their childhood, but when they fight, I want to take cover, LOL!
LOL! Yes, I think that is very true!
Oh my gosh, Grantchester! We just finished season 2 in the UK. Love your pix.
Hi, Ginny! We just finished season 2 on PBS here. That show ticks all of the right boxes for me. British mystery set in the 1950s? Perfect 🙂
