Weekend Favorites

This is the 45th Weekend Favorites post. I have written one for every Friday since January. I’m kind of impressed with myself for that. Now, please, somebody tell me why I can’t seem to pursue the laundry with such dedication?

The mosaic below represents other people’s pictures that spoke to me this week. Be sure to click on the titles below the mosaic, if you want to know more about the image or the photographer behind it.

  1. The granny square skirt is just beautiful. I wish I can crochet, I only knit. But one also have to have that nice pencil like body:) what a nice find.

    1. I’ve been wanting a skirt like that for some time, only in more autumnal colors. Alas, I don’t have that pencil-like body, either 😉

  2. I check most of your polymer clay links (’cause that’s my BAG, baby) and I always think, “Where does she find the time?”… just glad you do, Lisa! Have a great weekend 🙂

    1. You wouldn’t ask where I find the time, if you saw my kitchen sink or my bathroom floor… I have a bad habit of putting housework dead last on my list 😉 Glad you enjoy the links!

  3. Duh, that is where housework belongs, girl. I have wonderful memories of baking cookies or crafting with Gram, Mum etc. We had loads of fun and made fine messes. Did they do housework? Er, probably, but that isn’t what I remember. And hopefully no one will remember it about us 😉

    1. Amen to that!

  4. Hey Lisa,

Just wanted to say thank you for spending time doing your ‘weekly favourites’ post.

A colleague caught me engrossed in it and asked what was so interesting

  5. Sorry

  6. Sorry, my phone keeps spasming. Anyway, I said it was the highlight of my day and it really is. I eagerly await the icon appearing mid way through my day indeed something I look forward to all week!

    Thanks again

    1. I am so happy to hear that! And it’s neat to see that you are using the phone app. I always wonder if that is useful for anyone 🙂

  7. I echo the sentiment of the others. Thank you for the weekly curation of interesting posts.

    1. You are very welcome 🙂 Thanks for reading!
