Weekend Favorites

Posted September 6th, 2013 by

Ooh, thank you so much for all of the positive feedback on my new blanket! I can’t wait for a nice cool night with the back door open and a crisp breeze blowing into the family room… I’ll have to make sure I have some kind of lap blanket handy for Neil, too, or he’ll probably try to close the door and ruin all my fun. He does that, you know: gets cold and closes doors.

Party pooper ;-)

I need to turn that man into a lover of handknits so we can turn down the thermostat and enjoy bundling up in handmade goodness as a family, am I right?? Wish me luck with that…

Around the Web

I spend some time each afternoon, Monday through Thursday, sharing my favorite crafty links through social media. And then I repeat them here on Fridays.

Back to School!

School starts today. I guess I am ready, although I wouldn’t have said “no” to another week or two of summer. Here’s to a good academic year! It’s BOG’s last year in Middle School, and Flufy’s last year in Elementary School. Yikes. Where does the time go?
