As I write, I am waiting for the snow to begin piling up outside. We may be getting socked with something big. Or, we may not be. This is one of those things the meteorologists are not eager to commit to predicting. Either way, I am envisioning a Friday night in front of the fire, with my family, a warm drink and a pile of yarn. Bliss.
While I’m at it, I’d like to crawl under some of those blankets in my Flickr favorites this week. And how about the jewelry at the bottom – I’d love to know how they got those effects. So pretty!

And there you have it. Plenty of links to keep you busy this Winter weekend. Stay warm and cozy!
I have been baby blanket making so much (and now have to do another one) and seeing what you’ve been doing. Now I want to make one for ME! Oh, and seeing Lucy’s blankets on Attic24, too. It’s supposed to be cold here today. 60 degrees. HA! I hope you survive Nemo by staying warm and toasty!
60 degrees?! I should ban you for even mentioning such a warm temperature here! LOL!
I know what you mean about wanting to make one for yourself. I wish they didn’t take so long to do. I’ve decided I’d like to make one for each of us, so after this one, there will have to be one for Neil (which, if he’s going to accept it, will have to be really, mind-numbingly boring) and then finally MINE. My brain is swimming with possibilities – I wish I could make them all right now!
I see your post is lacking a very important link under the “boring” category: boringofficeguy.wordpress.com
I would be happy to link to you, Boring Office Guy, next time you post something crafty on your blog 🙂
