The Swamp Trip

[This post was written by my 10-year-old son, Aidan, aka Boring Office Guy.  Enjoy! –Lisa]

I am my mom’s son (obviously) but my point is Lisa is my mom. Anyway this is my first post and it is about this swamp trip. Here are the pictures my mom inspired me to make.

By the way I am happy to be on this website too, but some day, this website will be MINE! I hope my mom didn’t here that. Anyway my point is that I am happy to be on this website. It stinks that I wasn’t on this website earlier but when it’s too early you start to get embarrassed for instance:

DA SWUMP TWIP

DIS IS MUH FIRST PUST.

  1. You are a very special kid with a great mom. Great pictures! I specially love the one in the middle column on top. Keep learning from your mom. She has lota of good things to teach you.

  2. Sounds like you had a great time, Aidan and Lisa. We don’t see too many fall colors in Southern California, so it’s nice to follow you into the swamp instead.

    1. I would very much miss Fall colors if I lived somewhere without them!

  3. Love the photos, Aidan, particularly the fuzzie! But truly, the alternate post titles are the funniest things I’ve seen today. Make mom let you keep posting (and I hope you do take over)! Thanks for sharing your swamp trip,
    Zanne

  4. Great post Aidan! I look forward to seeing you on your mom’s (your future) website. So does the fact that you plan on taking it over mean you’ll also be making jewelry and other items?

  5. Great pictures, Aidan! My favorite is the caterpillar (try saying it ten times fast. It’s hard to do!)

I think you did good on your first post. And I won’t tell your mom that someday this blog will be yours. I’ll keep your secret!

  6. I see you have inherited your mother’s love of photography. Great pictures BOG. And I too am glad you are on this website now.

  7. Ahem. I heard that. Go register your own domain name 😉

    1. Yuck! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh, don’t kiss me in public!

  8. Lisa…I subscribed to your blog close to a year ago because I truly enjoyed all your special projects. I like good pictures of nature, etc., from time to time but do miss those earlier type posts and pictures. Sooner or later I’m sure I’ll unsubscribe but I do wish you and your son lots of success in the new direction of your blog.

    1. Thanks for your feedback, Patti. I wouldn’t say I’m going in a new direction here, as much as letting my current interests influence the content (as I always have). My creative whims ebb and flow. And now that cooler weather is here, I am sure there will be an abundance of cozy projects on my mind. In fact, knitting and quiltmaking sound particularly appealing right about now… Hope you’ll stick around 🙂

  9. Love the pictures Aidan! You’re going to give your momma a run for her money with shots like that. I (and my photo-boy) can’t wait to hear more from you 🙂

  10. […] enjoyed reading all of your comments on his post last night.  He was all set to reply to them, but it was late and I was all set for him to go the […]
