This is how the year goes out

This is how the year goes out:  Quietly, under a blanket of newly fallen snow.  Contentedly, by the light of the Christmas tree.  Festively, with a bowl of rare indulgences.  Warmly, next to a roaring fire.

That sounds about right.

A Peaceful, Healthy, and Happy New Year to us all!
