Polka Dot Cottage: Temporary insanity

New Moos

My most recent batch of Moo Cards showed up this week.  I love these things.  I use them as business cards, I slip them into orders that I’m shipping, and I use them as hang tags for my work.  But I have to admit that besides all of those useful uses, they are also great for just playing with, staring at, and compulsively sorting into cute little piles.  As  I’ve mentioned before, I do so love having stuff with my own images on it.

So this batch of cards has images of my various recent blog headers, all of which are exactly the same, save for the image in the top left.  I thought it would be fun to have a companion sticker book, too, that just had the photos by themselves in it, along with a few photos from earlier blog headers, although I really had no idea what I’d do with them.

The stickers arrived yesterday, and that’s when the temporary insanity struck.

I am not sure what made me think that plastering these stickers all over my laptop was a good idea.  I had started out with just one single row along the bottom, and that was ok. But I thought maybe it would be improved by adding a row across the top.  And, hmmm, maybe there should be some in the center by the Dell logo?  It spiraled quickly out of control, until I was left with this design.  It startles me every time I close the lid of my computer.  And not in a good way, either.

Time to figure out a good use for stickers that have lost half of their stickability, so that I don’t waste these suckers when I inevitably peel them off of here…
