Welcoming Autumn
Fall officially arrives at 11:48 Monday morning. I was resisting the end of summer, but now that I’ve had a few weeks to get used to the idea, I’m really looking forward to the next season. It has always been my favorite, after all.
Autumn is honeycrisp apples, pumpkin bread, and grabbing a sweater on your way out the door in the morning. Autumn is leaves crunching underfoot, and stealing sips from a mug of hot apple cider.
And this year, Autumn also involves a camera and a blog post.
Meet me back here on Monday morning, and take part in the Welcome Autumn Celebration. To participate, simply take a photo (or two, or three) that shows how you are ushering in the new season. Take the images and any words you might like to say, and post them on your site.

I remember last year you gave me that pumpkin bread recipe, & I remembered that Fall is your favorite season also. I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!! I hope someone gets a good photo of crunchy leaves for me, ’cause it’s still summer here & those leaves ain’t goin’ nowhere.
