Simpler times

I think perhaps Eamonn has played entirely too many rounds of his older brother’s Ultra Man: Monster Crisis
This afternoon, while playing a perfectly gentle computer game which is based on the movie Ratatouille
Um, sweetheart, there’s no killing in Ratatouille. How about we turn off the computer, go back 4 years, and play sweetly in a pile of wood chips? That was a lot easier for me to watch.

He is adorable in the wood chips!!! Do you know anything about the Mr. Bean movie? Apparently my DD watched it with DH when I wasn’t around and now she is saying weird sayings that I don’t get.

Yeah, I’m sure there are many of those heartbreaking moments ahead. Finishing preschool and getting on the bus to kindergarten are looming this year.
My son is 11! I hate to tell you, but this is only the beginning! It’s like he went from Winnie the Pooh to Batman over night. It happens around age 5 or 6. Cute pics, btw!
Yeah, I remember with my older son (who’s now about to turn 8). His 5th birthday brought all of these creepy dinosaur, transformer, monster, robot kind of gifts and I wondered what the heck happened to plush toys and board books?! I guess the little guy is right on track, being a few months away from 5 years old, and all. I’m not ready!
