I was all set to go wild and artsy, but let's face it - you can't get <i>that</i> artsy at Pearle Vision ;-) Besides, I'm apparently all talk. I'd had my choices down to these black ones and another pair that had a swirly brown pattern on the front and a really great green down the sides, and I wimped out and went with the black. Guess I love the fun colors in theory, but am still a practical girl at heart. For what glasses cost, they darn well better go with everything in my closet! Thanks. I like them, too. I've always had better than 20/20 vision until recently. And even now, I read the last line of the eye chart fluently when I'm well-rested. But at night, after spending a lot of time in front of the computer screen? It's a whole different ball game. I hear a lot of people say the same as you. ( I LOVE his name, BTW!) I am terribly near-sighted/half blind. I always wear my glasses, or if I am out running errands, I will wear my contacts. When I get home, I go straight to the bathroom and take them out though! When I do the close up detailed work on my clay beads, I have to lower my glasses on my nose, and put the bead right up to my eye ball! Thats the only way MY eyes will focus. 43 years old....and already can't see!! LOL! Can't imagine what I'll be like in 10 more years.... I like the new specks, Lisa, unlike your son Eamonn.
